Why am I here (in this course)

I’m here because I believe learning should be purposeful, engaging, and transformative. As an experienced professional, I’ve seen firsthand the power of well-designed instruction—and the frustration when it’s missing. I enrolled in the Instructional Design and Technology MicroMasters to sharpen my skills, explore new tools, and bridge the gap between theory and application. This journey isn’t just about earning a credential—it’s about mastering the craft of creating meaningful learning experiences that make a difference.

What I Do as a SCM Professional

I design and deliver targeted supply chain training—instructor-led and eLearning—to help professionals build practical skills, earn industry certifications, and drive operational excellence.

How I Bring Value

I blend real-world experience with instructional design to simplify complex supply chain concepts into actionable learning that solves real problems. My courses are efficient, aligned with global standards, and empower individuals and teams to excel.

Why I Do This

I’m passionate about helping supply chain professionals grow and succeed. The right learning experience can transform careers, and I aim to make it accessible, engaging, and applicable.

Credentials

I hold seven of the top ten global supply chain management certifications: CSCP, CPIM, CLTD, CTSC, CPSM, PMP, and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. These credentials showcase my commitment to operational excellence, development, and lifelong learning.

Outside of work

I am a private pilot, trawler skipper, and smooth jazz enthusiast in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA.
